Two new triterpenes from Duchesnea indica

Two new triterpenes,2α,3β-dihydroxyurs-12-en-18,19-epoxy-28-oic acid(1)and 18,19-seco,2α,3α-dihydroxyl-19-oxo-urs-11, 13(18)-dien-28-oic acid(2)were isolated from the herbaceous part of Duchesnea indica.Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis,including 2D NMR technique.The isolated compounds exhibited moderate cytotoxic activities against HeLa and L929 cell lines.

Amperometric sensor for L-ascorbic acid determination based on MnO2 bulk modified screen printed electrode

A simple biosensor constructed by bulk-modification of carbon ink with manganese dioxide as a mediator was investigated for its ability to serve as amperometric detector for L-ascorbic acid in hydrodynamic mode. The sensor could be operated at pH 5.0 (0.05 M phosphate buffer) and exhibited excellent reproducibility and stability. Optimization of measurement parameters such as applied working potential and pH value were studied in detail. The screen printed electrode exhibited a linear amperometric increase with the concentration of L-ascorbic acid from 50 mg L(-1) to 250 mg L(-1) and gave a (LOD = 3sigma) detection limit of 0.2 mg L(-1) (1.172 micromol L(-1)). The manganese dioxide modified screen printed electrode shows long term stability.     

ASYMPTOTIC STABILITY OF SINGULAR NONLINEAR DIFFERENTIAL SYSTEMS WITH UNBOUNDED DELAYS

In this paper,the asymptotic stability of singular nonlinear differential systems with unbounded delays is considered.The stability criteria are derived based on a kind of Lyapunov-functional and some technique of matrix inequalities.The criteria are described as matrix equation and matrix inequalities,which are computationally flexible and efficient.Two examples are given to illustrate the results.     

EXISTENCE OF SOLUTIONS TO A THIRD-ORDER THREE-POINT BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM

In this paper,we study the existence of solutions to a third-order three-point boundary value problem.By imposing certain restrictions on the nonlinear term,we prove the existence of at least one solution to the boundary value problem by the method of lower and upper solutions.We are interested in the construction of lower and upper solutions.     

Preparation of imprinted monolithic column under molecular crowding conditions

Molecular crowding is a new concept to obtain molecularly imprinted polymers(MIPs) with greater capacity and selectivity.In this work,molecular crowding agent was firstly applied to the preparation of MIPs monolithic column.A new polymerization system based on molecular crowding surrounding was developed to prepare enrofloxacin-imprinted monolith,which was composed of polystyrene and tetrahydrofuran.The result showed that the monolithic MIPs under molecular crowding conditions presented good molecular recognition for enrofloxacin with an imprinting factor of 3.03.     

Solvent-free Synthesis of Flavanone over New Hybrid Mesoporous Base Catalysts

Benzyl and anthracenemethyl groups were respectively bonded to the N atoms of 3-aminopropyl functionalized mesoporous SBA-15(APS-SBA-15) to obtain two new base catalysts over which the condensation reaction of benzaldehyde and 2'-hydroxyacetophenone was studied.Good catalytic activities and high selectivities for flavanones were obtained in solvent-free reactions,which is attributed to the effect of benzyl and anthracenemetyl groups on the base sites of catalysts and the steric hindrance of futher reaction ...     

Novel Method for Selective Debenzylation Under Maintenance of Fluoro Atom Substituted on β-Amino Acids
